Adding USDT
Create a payment request first
In the app, choose Add USDT and pick what you want to send: BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, USDT (Tron, Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain) or USDC. Unlockd creates a payment request with the address, the network and the amount to send, and a QR code where your wallet supports one.
Send only the asset you chose, and only on the network shown in your request. A payment in another asset or on another network cannot be recovered.
When funds count
Deposits are processed by our payment processor and converted to USDT. Your balance is credited with the USDT actually settled, after the network and processing fees, so the credit can differ slightly from the value you entered. Unlockd adds no deposit fee of its own.
Until the deposit settles, the request shows it as detected or confirming, and it is not spendable. Sharing a transaction hash, or telling us you have paid, does not add funds.
The processor screens incoming payments. A payment it flags can be held while the sender completes its verification, and may be returned under its rules.
If something does not match
If you send less or more than requested, or after the request expired, what settles is still credited to your balance. A payment that cannot be settled automatically is reviewed instead. Do not send the payment again; contact support from the payment request if you need help.
Your balance can only be spent on Unlockd cards; it cannot be withdrawn.
Available and reserved
Available USDT can be used for cards and card loads. When you confirm a card or a load, the price is reserved until the card provider confirms it, then spent — or released if it does not go ahead.
USDT is not the same as USD. Card prices and loads are shown in USD and converted with the rate in your quote.
